"The Red Studio" Exhibition at the MoMA

A new exhibition at the MoMA centers around one of Henri Matisse’s most renowned works, The Red Studio. The painting, monochromatic in nature, depicts the French painter’s famous studio, and the new exhibition is an ingenious collection of all the works that appear in it. The show is a masterclass in detective work, with the obscure items and paintings being sourced from other museums and private collections.

The exhibition is open through September 10.
